About Us

Prairie Traditional Archers is a not for profit organization dedicated to support the traditional art of archery in Kansas.  Our membership includes people of all walks of life and we are proud to have dozens of military veterans. We pride ourselves in our support for beginners to the sport, whether you need expert knowledge in which bow to buy, which arrows to use or which method of shooting to try, there is always an expert among us to help.

Traditional Archery is all about family.  While we host several events throughout the year, most participants are here for the social aspect of the sport.  You will not find a friendlier bunch and enjoy getting out with the kids as much as you will with archery. Our beautiful range has plenty of parking, a multiple target practice range, and over 30 3d targets across a very scenic course that skirts the banks of the Kansas river.

Joining the club is easy! Just contact us and one of our veteran shooters will meet you at the range and take you for a guided tour, where you are free to shoot or just enjoy the walk. See you soon!
